Giving for United Way Highest in UA’s History
Faculty and staff from across campus gathered on the President’s Mansion lawn Nov. 21 to mark the conclusion of the 2019 UA United Way campaign, hosted by the College of Arts & Sciences, which set a record with a total of $483,807.

UA Researcher Awarded Time on Supercomputer

UA Contributes Heavily to Tuscaloosa’s Public Art Scene
Craig Wedderspoon, UA professor of sculpture, said the University and city of Tuscaloosa have been working collaboratively to improve public art in the city since 2008, including the development of the Riverwalk and several sculptures in public parks.
