- To make an appointment with a general A&S advisor, a prelaw advisor, or a prehealth advisor, please use the links below to schedule a virtual or in-person appointment.
- To make an appointment with your major/faculty advisor, please connect with your major department’s office: Find Your Advisor.
You will be directed to myBama to make this 15-minute appointment. In the comments section, you can enter what you would like to discuss during your appointment. If you would like a longer virtual appointment, book an in-person 30-minute and contact the advisor that you booked the appointment with to request that it be converted to a virtual appointment. Your advisor will do their best to accommodate. Once completed, your Zoom appointment confirmation will be sent to your crimson email account.

All in-person appointments will be in 200 Clark Hall (2nd floor). Once completed, your appointment confirmation will be sent to your crimson email account.
On-Call and Drop-In Advising
What’s the difference between drop-in and on-call advising?
Drop-in sessions are in person in 200 Clark Hall. On-Call is virtual using the Zoom platform. No appointment is necessary. This service is reserved for quick questions, signing VMA forms, major changes, etc.
On-Call (Virtual) Advising
General Advising is available on Monday through Friday 1:00–3:30 p.m.
Drop-in (In-Person) Advising
January 10-January 20, 2023 drop-in advising for general advising questions will be from 9-11:30am
Prehealth drop-in advising will begin January 10th and operate Monday-Thursdays in person from 1-3:30pm.
***Please note drop-in hours will be unavailable when the University is closed for business (ex: severe weather dismissals, Spring Break, etc.)
