Galactic Discovery

Using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, UA astronomers discovered the first evidence for giant black holes in dwarf galaxies on a collision course, providing insight into our Milky Way’s past.

Strengthening Community

The Alabama Department of Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention has awarded funding to community-based programs dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, including the UA Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic.
