EXHIBITION: René Thompson and Sandra Vega MA Thesis Exhibit
The Sella-Granata Art Gallery is proud to present the MA thesis exhibitions of René Thompson and Sandra Vega, March 1-12, 2021. The Sella-Granata Art Gallery is an essential part of the education and development of UA students and our community. The gallery is located at 109 Woods Hall, 7th Avenue, on UA campus in Tuscaloosa and admission is free. Gallery hours for the 2021 spring semester are Mon.-Thurs. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fri. 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The gallery is open to the public, limited to ten (10) visitors at…

Curated by University of Alabama student volunteer Allison Mansour, the Stitching Together Tuscaloosa’s History exhibition utilizes the 2019 Tuscaloosa Bicentennial Quilt which was created as a celebration of Tuscaloosa’s ever-changing and diversifying communities. This February and March, the Mildred Westervelt Warner Transportation Museum takes a new look at the quilt through the lens of Black History and the rich stories spun by African American quilters.
