Masterclass with Poet and Memoirist Emma Bolden

This event is free and open to the public. EMMA BOLDEN is the author of House Is an Enigma, medi(t)ations, and Maleficae. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Literary Fellowship.

Chinese Calligraphy Workshop
UA Student Center, Room 3104 751 Campus W Dr, Tuscaloosa, AL, United StatesThe Women and Gender Resource Center and the Chinese Culture club are partnering to co-host a Chinese Calligraphy Workshop with special guests Dr. Doris Sung, Assistant Professor of Art History, presented by The Chinese Sisterhood of Tuscaloosa. Dr. Sung will provide background on the history of traditional Chinese calligraphy and TCS, provide a demonstration, and then attendees are invited to create their own Chinese calligraphy!
