Dr. Samantha Hansen, an assistant professor in the Department of Geological Sciences, was awarded a $715,000 CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation to study a new approach to investigating the seismic velocity structure beneath Antarctica. Travel Research Fund in American Studies Pays Tribute to Former Student

A travel research fund in the College’s Department of American Studies was established this year with a gift of $40,000 in honor of the late John Paul Ahlstrom of Montgomery.
