Trump makes history as first candidate to be removed from state’s primary ballot: WVUA-TV – Dec. 22

It is the first time, a possible president has been taken off the ballot. The state was able to do this because elections are overseen by each state’s, secretary of state. According to University of Alabama political science professor, Dr. Allen Linken, the election system provides reason for the action itself of taking Trump’s name off the ballot.
