Million Dollar Band

Like Alabama football, Million Dollar Band drum majors eat pressure for breakfast: Tuscaloosa News – Jan. 9

Drummers broke their drum heads, they were beating on them so hard. Someone in the marching band section smashed a chair. Everyone was jumping and ripping off their uniform clips. The Million Dollar Band is supposed to count off the fight song immediately after an Alabama football win.

Crimsonette performs with crippling arthritis: WVUA – Jan. 10

Anna Grace McFonald battled crippling arthritis growing up in Helena. She always said she wanted to twirl at The University of Alabama. And today she’s a member of the Crimsonettes, marching tonight with the Million Dollar Band.

Officially dedicated in August 2014 by College of Arts and Sciences Dean Emeritus Robert Olin, the Woods Quad Sculpture Garden is a unique space on campus that features sculptures from local artists.
