A two-story-high Holtkamp organ, with brass pipes extending to the ceiling, is the centerpiece of the Concert Hall in the Frank M. Moody Music Building on The University of Alabama campus. Spanish Professor Receives Award from State Foreign Language Teachers Association

Dr. William Worden, a professor of Spanish and director of the Spanish program in the College’s Department of Modern Languages and Classics, has been named the winner of the 2013 Post-Secondary Award by the Alabama Association of Foreign Language Teachers. Multiple Grant Opportunities Aimed at Expanding Physics Education for Future High School Teachers

A new partnership between the College’s Department of Physics and Astronomy and faculty in UA’s College of Education is aimed at improving the training of high school physics teachers in Alabama.
