Originally from Florence, AL, Ashley (Newsome) Thomas graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in psychology in 2010 and then an MS in student affairs in higher education in 2013.  Ashley has been at The University of Alabama since fall 2015 but joined the College of Arts and Sciences as a College Registrar in May 2019. Ashley takes pride in being a member of the Arts and Sciences Student Services team and enjoys helping the College provide quality support services to students, academic departments, and the university. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, binging her favorite TV shows, walking and/or running on campus, and working on DIY projects with her dad.
