Saturday in the Park: Storytelling

September 7 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Get ready for the Moundville Native American Festival with a preview event on September 7, 2024 from 10 am until 2 pm! Grayhawk Perkins will be inside the Jones Archaeological Museum performing traditional Houma storytelling, Bill Skinner will also be outside of the Museum with a Tools and Weapons presentation, and visitors will have opportunities to sign up to volunteer for the 2024 Moundville Native American Festival.

Admission

This program is free with paid park admission.

  • Adults – $8
  • Seniors (55-years-old and older) – $7
  • Students – $6
  • Under 5 – Free
  • Moundville Residents – Free
  • Native American visitors – Free with tribal membership card
  • UA Museums members – Free with museum membership

Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69 and the physical address is 634 Mound State Parkway, Moundville, AL 35474-6413.
