Find Your Advisor

Who Should You See?

A&S Student Services Center

  • First-year students and students unsure about their major
  • Great for questions about general education requirements, changing your major within Arts & Sciences, and getting connected with resources on campus.
  • If you’re on a Pre-Health or Pre-Law track, you will meet with an advisor in the program every semester of your college career to help you stay on course.

Faculty/Department Advising

  • Ready to dive into your major? Your departmental advisor has a wealth of knowledge to share with you! This is your chance to get to know the instructors and professionals in your department, who can share their experiences in the job field, point you towards internships and research opportunities, and write you letters of recommendation.
  • Reach out to your department to be assigned your faculty advisor or find your department’s advising information page.
