UCRA Accepting Applications for 2016

The Undergraduate Creativity and Research Academy (UCRA) is now accepting applications for the spring 2016 funding cycle.

Established in 2014, UCRA aims to fund undergraduate research and creative activity and to highlight the exceptional work of A&S students and their faculty mentors.

Students selected for funding will present their work at the annual University Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference, held in the spring semester. They are also encouraged to present their work at regional, national and international conferences.

Funding is open to all full-time undergraduate students who have declared majors in the College of Arts and Sciences. Applications should be emailed to Geoff Tick, gtick@ua.edu, as a PDF by Monday, February 15, 2016. Applicants will receive an email indicating their proposal has been received.

More information, including UCRA’s mission statement, guidelines, and the call for proposals, can be found at http://undergraduateresearch.as.ua.edu/the-undergraduate-creativity-and-research-academy/.
