Center for Cuba Collaboration and Scholarship Calls for Project Proposals

The University of Alabama Center for Cuba Collaboration and Scholarship is calling for faculty members to submit research project proposals to partner with colleagues in Cuba. Project proposals are due by November 1st, and both faculty members who have visited Cuba before and those new to working in Cuba are allowed to apply. Vatican Partners With UA Artist

From the June 2015 Desktop News | UA faculty member and artist-in-residence Chip Cooper was invited to Rome for an exhibit of photographs by him and Cuban photographer Julio Ángel Larramendi Joa as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and the Vatican.
