eTech Mentors

eTech’s mission is to help Arts and Sciences faculty and instructors who would like to incorporate technology into their teaching and research.

eTech Mentors
eTech Mentors are Arts and Sciences faculty who are experienced users of the main instructional technologies on campus: eLearning, Tegrity, Turnitin, and the Turning Technologies clickers. Over the course of the year, the mentors will post ideas and resources on the eTech Mentor blog for using these technologies in student-centered ways and for pulling assessment data.

iPads
eTech supports faculty, instructor, and staff use of iPads within the College of Arts and Sciences. We are always happy to come to your department or meet individually to talk about any iPad questions you may have. Be sure to check our iPad blog for tips and for information on how others have incorporated the iPad into their teaching and research.

If you have any questions about the main instructional technologies on campus, iPads, online courses, or social media, contact Rebecca Johnson, Director of Instructional Technology and New Pedagogies.

Workshops
eTech hosts workshops for Arts and Sciences faculty and staff throughout the year.
