The College of Arts & Sciences currently houses seven open computer labs with a total of approximately 250 workstations. Open labs are available for use by any student, employee, or faculty member with a valid Bama ID except during scheduled class sessions. Read More

The College's Office of Educational Technology maintains and supports 96 multimedia classrooms across the University of Alabama campus.
Web Development
eTech offers free web services to departments and programs within the College of Arts & Sciences. Web services offered by eTech include web hosting, website development, and web application development. Read More
iPad Initiative
The iPad Initiative was conceived by Dean Robert Olin as a key component of the college's academic continuity plan as well as a way to foster innovative instruction. eTech supports faculty and staff use of the iPad in the College of Arts and Sciences. Welcome

Welcome to the Office of Educational Technology!  Our mission is to provide technology and resources to the College of Arts and Sciences faculty for the purpose of enhancing student education.  Our department supports a number of Arts and Sciences-controlled multimedia classrooms and student computer labs.  We also offer educational sessions and one-on-one support for faculty who are interested in using various technologies in their classroom.
