Dr. Robin D. Rogers, holder of the Robert Ramsay Chair of Chemistry and a Distinguished Research Professor of Chemistry at UA, has contributed $50,000 to establish the Robin D. Rogers Endowed Scholarship in Chemistry. The scholarship will provide funds for Department of Chemistry graduate students who graduated from The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Rogers earned his bachelor’s degree and his doctorate from The University of Alabama. While a student at the Capstone, he participated in the Million Dollar Band. Rogers joined the College’s faculty in 1996 and has been the director of UA’s Center for Green Manufacturing since 1998.
